Why World Aircraft Insurance

One broker. Any aircraft. Any registration. Worldwide.

We are not tied to a single insurer. World Aircraft Insurance works with a carefully selected network of specialist aviation underwriters across the world, which means we can arrange competitive cover for any aircraft type and any registration — whether your aircraft flies under an N-number, a G-, D- or EC- mark, or is registered on an offshore registry such as the Isle of Man, Malta or Bermuda.

Our specialists understand the regulatory requirements in each market — from the compulsory EU Regulation 785/2004 minimums that apply across 16 European countries, to Canada's mandatory CAR 606.02 requirements, to the exact-match insurance rules now enforced by Mexico's AFAC. You deal with one team, one point of contact, regardless of which insurer ultimately carries the risk.

Insurance by country

Find aircraft insurance in your country or jurisdiction.

Select your country below. Each site explains the local regulatory framework, registration requirements and available cover, and lets you request a quote directly.

UK CAA — Post-Brexit

The UK retains its own version of Regulation 785/2004 — liability cover remains compulsory, enforced by the UK Civil Aviation Authority.

FAA — United States

No federal insurance mandate for private aircraft; cover is required by lenders, airports and flight schools. Part 135 commercial operators must meet DOT minimums.

Other national authorities — English markets

Each country has its own framework. Canada mandates cover; Australia requires it for hire/reward operations.

What we arrange

Regulatory overview

Insurance mandates across our markets.

The most important thing to understand before you fly. Every market is different — we know each one.

EU Regulation 785/2004 sets compulsory minimum liability cover across all EU states and is mirrored by the UK and Norway. Canada's CAR 606.02 mandates cover for all operators including private. The USA has no federal mandate for private aircraft. Offshore registries apply their own requirements.
